From walking a 5K to getting a spa treatment, the month of October has lots of activities for you when it comes to joining the fight against breast cancer. Here are some of our favorites.

2012 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer – North Puget Sound

Lace up your tennis shoes and walk in honor of those fighting breast cancer and those we have lost too soon. The event raises funds to establish a free/reduced fee mammography program, provides community education and outreach in an effort to save lives and eases the journey for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients by providing support services at MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital. The walk is in downtown Sumner, 3.1 miles for all the women in your life. Join in the fun, including Kids’ Dash, Motorcycle ride, Bedazzled Bra Contest, PINK’d Award, Vendor Village and more! The journey to end breast cancer starts with a single step.
